Based on the National Health Interview Survey from 2021, 3.8% of adults aged 18 years and older experienced serious psychological distress during the past 30 days.

In this figure, when the x-axis on the graph is labelled as "<100" this means that those individuals are less than 100% of the FPL, 100-199 is 100%-199% of FPL, 200%-399 is 200%-399% of FPL, and >400 is more than 400% of FPL.
