Medication for Opioid Use Disorder During Pregnancy 2014-2021

The Maternal and Infant Network to Understand Outcomes Associated with Medication for Opioid Use Disorder During Pregnancy (MAT-LINK) is a surveillance network of seven clinical sites in the US. Based on the surveillance data, "those receiving MOUD during pregnancy were more likely to be older and White and to have public insurance." More clinic sites are needed to develop a robust dataset as currently the clinic sites are not representative of the South or Southwest, and certain racial and ethnic groups had low representation compared to the overall US population demographics.
