Testing for Nonprescribed Fentanyl and Percentage of Positive Test Results Among Patients with Opioid Use Disorder 2019-2020

Patients receiving medication for opioid use disorder provide specimens to test for the presence of fentanyl. At the end of 2019, positive test results were 26.7%. The percentage of positive test results peaked in late March-early April 2020 at 40.5%, but decreased in late April-early May to 24.3%.
