Strategic Data Need

Collect and disseminate detailed data on the circumstance surrounding unintentional and undetermined intent drug overdoses, including risk factors and opportunities for intervention, in order to better inform prevention and response efforts




Data quality is dependent upon the level of detail in medical examiner and coroner reports and the reception of the reports from those entities, lag in data because of death certification
