U.S. Students Reporting Any Past-Year Illicit Drug Use
Based on survey data collected from Monitoring the Future, past-year illicit drug use has decreased 4.8% from 2020 to 2021 among 12th grade students. Among 10th grade students, past-year illicit drug use has decreased by 11.7% between 2020 and 2021. 8th grade students' past-year illicit drug use decreased by 5.4% in the same time period.
